MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed several laws declaring special working and non-working holidays in different parts of the country, Malacañang said Saturday.
Republic Act (RA) 12248 declared June 15 of every year a special non-working holiday in General Santos City to commemorate its charter anniversary.
Meanwhile, special working holidays were declared in two cities, namely Island Garden City of Samal, Davao Del Norte that will mark the city’s foundation day on March 7 each year (RA 12246); and San Juan City that will mark August 30 annually as observance of the Battle of Pinaglabanan (RA 12250)., This news data comes from:http://oj.052298.com
RA 12247 designated Sept. 18 of every year as a special working day in Bansalan, Davao del Sur to celebrate its foundation anniversary.
Marcos signs laws declaring holidays across PH
RA 12249 declared June 24 of each year as a special working day in Balayan, Batangas on occasion of the “Parada ng Lechon.”
Finally, RA 12251 proclaimed Sept. 21 of each year as a special working day in San Mateo, Rizal on account of its foundation anniversary, or the Araw ng Bayan ng San Mateo.
